Barrow is a circular grass-covered platform, about 6 metres across, ringed by a complete ditch on the east-facing slope of Slieve Gullion in County Meath. It has watched the land from a broad shelf since before human memory, perhaps marking burial, boundary or ceremony for peoples whose names are lost. The ditch still holds its shape, and the barrow remains excluded from the forest plantation, giving the hill one quiet place where intention and time still meet.
Situated on a broad shelf at the bottom of the E-facing slope of a prominent hill known as Slieve Gullion. A circular grass-covered platform (diam. c. 6m) defined by a complete fosse (ext. diam. c. 13m) is visible on Google Earth (05/10/2009) where it is most distinct, and it has been excluded from a forest plantation since 2016. The enclosure (ME015-131----) is c. 50m to the W. The barrow is also visible on MapGenie imagery (2004-06; 2005-12; 2013-18), Digital Globe (2011-13) and Apple Maps, and while it is not depicted directly on any OS map, a 600 foot contour marks the location on the 1908 edition of the OS 6-inch map. The barrow and enclosure were first reported by Jean Charles Caillére.

Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its location on a prominent hill suggests ritual or ceremonial significance, typical of burial monuments in the Slieve Gullion landscape.
