In reclaimed pasture immediately N of earthwork (LI040-082002-). Not depicted on the OSi historic maps. Visible as a circular-shaped cropmark on aerial photograph (ASIAP (344) 0, 3) taken 05/01/2004. Faint outline of possible ditch-barrow (diam. c. 12m) visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 19/09/2019. See attached ASIAP aerial image and Google Earth orthoimages. Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its presence indicates a significant burial tradition in the Knocklong area, though specific archaeological details remain limited.
