Barrow is a five-metre ditch barrow hidden in reclaimed pasture beside Ballycahill and Knocklong, with a ringfort waiting 175m to the southeast. It never appeared on historic maps, but shadow and crop growth revealed its circular outline in aerial views from 2003 to 2018. The land may have swallowed a buried chamber, yet the shape still resists forgetting.

In reclaimed pasture, 50m E of townland boundary with Ballycahill and 90m N of townland boundary with Knocklong. A ringfort (LI040-079----) lies 175m to the SE. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as the cropmark of a possible ditch-barrow on oblique aerial photograph taken in 2003 (ASIAP (344) 9). Monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 5m) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/03/2018. A ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its presence indicates a local tradition of burial practice and may be associated with early agricultural communities in the region.
