What is recorded here

Barrow is a seven-metre ditch circle on wet Limerick pasture, surrounded by ringforts and other barrows within thirty metres. The ditch still holds its shape beneath grass and water, marking a dead person or a boundary for the living. It is not a monument built to be admired from a distance. It is a hole in the ground that refused to fill, waiting for someone to notice the shape it kept.

Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its location near ring-barrows and ringforts suggests a complex funerary and settlement landscape in the Glen area.
