In pasture on a gentle N-facing slope with good views from SW-NW. Enclosure (LI031-106----) located 80m to SE, enclosure (LI031-108----) 180m to NE. Earthwork (Site No. 031186) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2506) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Surveyed by the ASI in 2007 and described as a circular-shaped area (dims. 9m NW-SE; 8m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (Wth 0.6m; H 0.15m). Interior level and covered in nettles. Field boundary running NW-SE abuts to NE. Faint trace of circular-shaped cropmark visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 05/04/2006.
