In pasture, an earthwork (LI040-194001-) lies 85m to the S. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a possible ditch-barrow by the Bruff survey (Bruff 69; McCloud DP 01/06). No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthophoto taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages. See attached oblique aerial photograph taken by McCloud and Google Earth orthoimages. Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its identification contributes to understanding of burial practices and landscape use in the Bruff area.
