Ballyadams House has a castle for a neighbour, which rather ruins the pleasure of showing off your entrance porch. ‘Lovely, ’ says the neighbour. ‘How long would it hold against a siege?’
Detached five-bay single-storey house with dormer attic, c. 1865, possibly incorporating fabric of earlier building, with advanced entrance bay and gable. Ballyadams Castle, an early fortified house adjoining a tower house are nearby to east.
