Ballinakill Castle stood five stories high on Castle Lane until ruin claimed most of its roughly coursed stone. Two gun loops still pierce the lower walls, waiting for threats that vanished centuries ago. The large second-floor window frames only sky now, inviting imagination to fill the empty rooms.

Remains of detached medieval tower house, c. 1680. Now in ruins. Originally five stories high, constructed of roughly coursed stone with dressed limestone quoins. Two gun loops visible on ground and first floor; large window to second floor.
