Ardchonnell

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Ardchonnell as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Ardchonnell is a Neolithic chambered cairn, dating to the 4th to 3rd millennium BCE. Such tombs are significant as early communal burial monuments, reflecting complex social structures and ritual practices in prehistoric Scotland.
