Architectural fragment in Emly

Incorporated in the S face of the N boundary wall of the yard of the RC church near the E gable of the church. One of three decorated captials with carved heads (also TS065-013009- and TS065-013011-) from the former cathedral (TS065-013002-). The architectural fragment is decorated with the head of a bishop, wearing a mitre, and the collar of a robe is also visible. The ears are pinned back and the S face of the stone is fluted. The facial features are badly eroded. Possibly a fragment from a window of the destroyed cathedral, it may have acted as a window stop or as a feature at the apex of a window.
