Melted church stones from Tracton abbey still stand scattered in the Ardbrack House grounds near Kinsale. One broken window keeps its curved top, pointing upward like a forgotten arrow. The abbey itself has vanished, but these fragments refuse to disappear completely. They turn a private garden into a place where lost religious life can still be touched.

A collection of architectural fragments from Tracton abbey (CO099-043003-), including an ogee-head of a window light, are in the grounds of Ardbrack House (CO112-039001-) near Kinsale.
