Anomalous stone group in Tilickafinna (dursey Island)

In rough pasture, in a sheltered hollow on a S-facing hillslope with commanding views across the mouth of Bantry Bay as far as Mizen Head. Near the centre of the hollow, an arrangement of six upright contiguous stone slabs (H up to 0.6m) form a roughly rectangular box-like structure (1.6m N-S; 0.85m E-W). In the surrounding area an assortment of upright (H up to 1.3m), leaning and fallen stone slabs occur in a haphazard fashion, especially towards the S edge of the level hollow, from where the ground slopes steeply to the S.
