What is recorded here

Two upright stones lean against each other across a narrow gap on a SW-facing slope above Lake Guitane, their edges worn smooth by hill wind and rain. They are not a grand chamber or clear altar, but a small anomalous group where human hands may have arranged what the hill already offered. In the dim Kerry light, the stones seem to mark a threshold rather than a room, inviting people to pause, align themselves with the western water, and leave the place unchanged.

In rough hill pasture, on a SW-facing slope, containing occasional boulders and loose stones, overlooking Lake Guitane to the W. Two upright stones, which are aligned E-W, stand 1.35m apart. The stone at W (H 1.6m; 1.55m x 0.32m), which is on a WNW-ESE orientation, is roughly rectangular in plan and leans to the NNE where it is supported by smaller stones. The stone at E (H 1.25m; 1.95m x 0.5m), which is on a NE-SW orientation, is roughly rectangular in plan also and leans to the NW, where it is supported by a stone.
