Anomalous stone group in Rooves More

In pasture. Stone (max. H 1.4m), aligned approximately N-S, leans heavily to S. Lying at base of W face is second stone (L 0.9m; Wth 0.35m); 0.7m further to SSW and NW are two stones lying on ground (1.1m apart) 1.2m and 1.3m in length. Hartnett (1939, 123) described 4 stones, 2 standing and remaining pair (Band C) lying 'loosely' on ground. 'In the accompanying plan (missing) I have show what I took to be the probable position of the stones "B" and "C". The 'outline is suggestive of a circle, with perhaps a stone missing' (ibid.).
