Late 17th century 2-storey house; steeply pitched hipped roof; erected by Sir James Cotter and then called Ballinsterrig, later home of Dobson family (Coleman 1917-20a). Entrance front (S) of 5 bays with boldly projecting square 2-storey corner towers crowned with pyramidal roofs. String course divides ground and 1st floor. Central doorcase with entablature. Demolished by 1965 (Bence Jones 1978, 6).
