What is recorded here
Terraced two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1830, now in use as offices. Flat roof with brick chimneystack and rendered parapet. Rendered walls. Timber sash windows to upper floors. Remains of timber shopfront, c. 1880, comprising of fixed window and glazed door, flanked by replacement pilasters and having replacement fascia and cornice above.
This former house makes a notable and positive addition to the streetscape, due to the scale and form of the building. Though many interesting features and materials have been replaced, this building retains the remains of a late nineteenth-century shopfront and timber sash windows.
