Aghadown Church (Site of) — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Aghadown Church vanished into the Cork soil, leaving no stone or marker for modern hands to touch. The 1842 map caught its ghost in ruins, trapped in the northern half of a graveyard before even memory faded. People may have prayed there, buried their dead there, and forgotten the walls entirely. The earth kept the church long after human attention stopped arriving.

Indicated on OS 6-inch map (1842) as 'Aghadown church (in ruins)' in N half of graveyard (CO141-102001-). No visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
