Freestanding gateway, built c. 1840, comprising pair of square-profile cut limestone piers with pyramid caps. Decorative cast-iron double-leaf gates with fleur-de-lis motifs.
Adding decorative interest to the streetscape and forming a pair with the entrance of a similar design opposite, this gateway displays fine craftsmanship and stonework.
