Abandoned 2-storey house, of early 19th-century appearance. Entrance front (NW) of 3 bays, central rectangular door ope with rectangular fanlight, rectangular window opes. Side elevations 1-bay deep, short section of wall extends from NW side of side elevations. Hipped roof with two off-centre chimneys. Remains of two originally hipped additions to rear. Described by Lewis (1837, vol. 1, 220) as a 'neat modern residence'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
