Woodhall House stands in Juniper Green, Edinburgh, carrying a sixteenth-century tower beneath an 1884 country-house frame. It has belonged to Foulis baronets, a physician, Jesuit novices and students before becoming seventeen private flats. Rooms that once echoed with prayer and lecture now hold ordinary lives, while the old tower still rises above the garden like a forgotten guard.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Woodhall House as Country House (19th Century) (1884), Tower House (16th Century).
