Woburn Sands Railway Station was part of the former Bedford and Northampton Railway, which opened in the 1850s and connected Bedford to Northampton. The station served the local community until the line closed to passengers in 1963, and it is now remembered as a historical transport link in the development of the Milton Keynes area.
