What is recorded here
Withesike Bay features a sea cliff composed primarily of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The cliff is notable for its exposure of fossil-rich rock layers, which provide evidence of ancient coral reefs and marine life.
