Windmill in Kinvarra (kiltartan By.)

Windmill

What is recorded here

Kinvarra Kiltartan Bay windmill stands as a forgotten stone sentinel, its sails long gone but its shadow still stretching across the water. The bay itself whispers of a drowned kingdom, yet the mill remained stubbornly mortal, grinding grain or resisting the tide depending on which tale you believe. Its absence from modern memory is not neglect but transformation, the kind where human making dissolves back into the landscape that birthed it.
