What is recorded here
Windmill in Dublin South City is a windmill in County Dublin, Ireland. Perhaps Ball (1906, 161) captured a forgotten shape in the Kilmainham-Islandbridge area, where post-1700 AD winds still pull at invisible sails. Maybe the mill ground grain for neighbours or mocked the sky for fun, leaving no stone behind. Imagine a wooden shadow swinging above ordinary fields, visible only when the air moved.
Ball (1906, 161) mentions a windmill in the Kilmainham-Islandbridge area. Post-1700 AD. Not precisely located.
