Whitelady waterfall cascades down a steep limestone cliff within the dramatic Lydford Gorge, part of the River Lyd, and is around 15 metres in height. The gorge, carved by the river over millennia, features striking red sandstone cliffs and is a notable geological and scenic attraction in the Dartmoor area.
