What is recorded here

Located on the flood-plain of the NW-SE River Slaney at Enniscorthy, with the river c. 100m to the SW. Archaeological testing (97E0202) recorded a stone-lined well (diam. 0.92m) to a depth of c. 18m. The date of construction is not certain but it has been preserved in situ beneath a modern structure. St. Senan's church (WX020-031001-) is c. 140m to the N.
