Well in Straboe

Unlocated well within townland. Reference to a possible well here (O'Flanagan M. 1933, 179). No visible surface remains. In the OS letters it says that Sir Charles Coote in his Statistical Survey of Queens County commented 'At Straboe are also the ruins of a Church and a famous well etc.' (p. 137) The OS letters go on to state they when in Straboe parish they enquired as to the presence of a notable well about the old church or in the Parish, and got no information as to the existence or name of any a holy well ro as one remarkable for any other property (O'Flanagan 1933, Vol. 1, p. 64).
