No mystic legend, no healing claim, no hidden ceremony. The well sits west of the church inside the old enclosure on the east slopes of Carrickgollogan, plain and unremarkable in the way that makes it memorable.

The site lies on the E slopes of Carrickgollogan. This well, located within the ecclesiastical enclosure and W of the church (DU026-050001-), has no tradition of being a holy well or having curative powers (Anon 1914, 88) Compiled by: Geraldine Stout and Padraig Clancy.
