Twenty wooden posts still angle northwest across the Fergus estuary, guiding silver fish into a trap beside Lissan West. The tide strikes them every evening, pulling at joints and seams that human hands set long before memory. To stand among them is to hear water working like a patient hunter, repeating its hunt through wood and salt.

Situated on the west bank of the Fergus estuary, adjacent to Lissan West townland. An alignment of at least 20 wooden posts (L 8m) of varying diameters and height, with narrower roundwood poles and branches in between, all angled to the NW against the force of the ebbing tide.
