Eroding out of gently sloping estuarine clays on the E bank of the Fergus estuary adjacent to the townland of Carrownanelly. A post alignment (L 8m) oriented NW-SE comprising 20 roundwood posts at intervals of 0.2m. A cluster of roundwood posts submerged in shallow water at the NW end of the structure may be a possible support for a trap. It is of unknown date. (O’Sullivan 2001, Fergus estuary 9, 217-8, 297)
