What is recorded here

Wedge tombs are common in County Clare, but this one still stands out in Cloonyconry More. It is no longer a hidden thing, yet it remains a place where old distance and present memory meet. The chamber is small enough to approach without fear, large enough to hold more than one life at once. What is remembered there is not a warning or a trap. It is a invitation to stay present long enough to understand what the place is saying.

Wedge tomb; dates to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BC). These tombs are characteristic of western Europe and represent a regional evolution of megalithic burial traditions in Ireland.
