Unlocated watermill within townland, referred to in the Civil Survey (1654-6) as a 'Mill upon a small streame, about a mukest shott from the castle' (Simington 1931 vol. 1, 123). The mill may have been located to the N of Lismalin Castle (TS055-065----) close to the banks of the present Kings river which runs c. 500m to the N of the castle.
