What is recorded here

Watchman's hut stands in the northwest corner of a County Cork graveyard, its rectangular remains measuring 5.1 metres north-south and 3.8 metres east-west. The structure likely guarded the burial ground, suggesting a dedicated keeper once walked these paths. That unseen keeper may have sat within these walls, watching over the dead and ensuring the living respected the silence of the place.
