Raglan Castle, located in Monmouthshire, was built in the 15th century by the powerful Berkeley family, later held by the Herbert family, Earls of Pembroke. It is remembered for its impressive late medieval architecture and its role in the English Civil War, when it was besieged and largely destroyed in 1646.
