Ward of Silwick

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Ward of Silwick as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 3500–2500 BCE). Such tombs are significant as they represent communal burial practices and social organisation in prehistoric Scotland.
