S-plan bathing area, built c.1970, comprising rendered concrete steps, rendered walls and poured concrete walkways and slipways overlooking Galway Bay.
Located at the west end of the popular Salthill promenade, this bathing place overlooks Galway Bay. Built in conjunction with the shelter (30409404) and the diving platform, this assemblage creates an interesting visual impact, while providing a social aspect to the seafront area.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
