UB 104 was a German U-boat (Type U 93) that was lost in 1918 during the First World War; it was scuttled off the coast of Scotland following the end of the war as part of the surrender of the German High Seas Fleet. No lives were lost, but its wreck is of historical significance as a remnant of the post-war naval disarmament and the broader U-boat campaign of World War I.
