Twatt Church, located in Orkney, Scotland, is linked to St. Tidan (or Twatt), an early Christian saint associated with the Pictish period. The church and its holy well were traditionally visited for healing, particularly for ailments of the eyes and skin, and local folklore suggests that water from the well was collected at dawn on specific feast days for maximum efficacy.
