Tushielaw Tower is a medieval tower house in the Borders region of Scotland, likely built in the 15th or 16th century by a local landholding family, possibly the Maxwells or Johnstons, who were prominent in the area. It is remembered for its strategic position and as an example of the defensive architecture typical of the turbulent Border Reivers period.
