On ground sloping down to NNW, in area planted with coniferous trees. Collapsed remains of limekiln, indicated on 1842 OS 6-inch map, survives as irregularly-shaped earthen mound (H on downslope c. 3m; H on upslope c. 0.5m; diam. c. 8m) on which trees are growing.
