Trewethet Gut is a sea cliff in Cornwall, composed primarily of Devonian slate, formed around 380 million years ago through sedimentary deposition and subsequent regional metamorphism. It is notable for its exposure of ancient rock formations that provide insight into the geological history of the Cornubian Batholith region.
