15-19, Cotton StreetListed building · 104 yd

Explorer Tom 15-19 Cotton Street in Old Bolsover is a row of houses pretending to be important. They're Grade II listed, which is nice for old bricks. Take a picture of the whole street for me!

49, High StreetListed building · 163 yd

Explorer Tom 49, High Street in Old Bolsover is just a building with opinions. It’s Grade II listed, so it’s probably got some old timber frames hiding under the stone. Peek inside if you dare!

Surprise ViewVisitor information · 219 yd

Explorer Tom Surprise View in Bolsover. The name does the work. No info saved? Then the surprise is that you’re even looking at this!

Bolsover CastleRegistered park or garden · 273 yd

Explorer Tom Bolsover Castle in Bolsover is showing off its fancy garden like it owns the place, which it probably does. I bet the roses gossip about who visited last. Take a picture of the prettiest flower and tell it I said hi!

Sculpture in the Peter Fidler ReservePublic sculpture · 1241 yd

Explorer Tom Sculpture in the Peter Fidler Reserve in Bolsover is chilling out in nature like it owns the whole lot. Very artsy fartsy, I must say. Let’s see if it matches your style or not at all.

Stockley TrailVisitor information · 1303 yd

Explorer Tom Stockley Trail is keeping things quiet. Visitor info only. If you get lost, blame the trail and not your terrible sense of direction.

Peter Fidler Memorial CairnMemorial · 1546 ydPeter Fidler reserve and monumentMonument or public art · 1559 ydSnipe BogNature reserve · 1568 yd

Explorer Tom Snipe Bog is right by the River Doe Lea, so if you slip, it’s not just water, it’s bog. Snipes love it there, so keep your distance unless you want to be spotted from above by tiny birds.

Birch Hill PlantationForest · 1.9 mi

Explorer Tom Birch Hill Plantation in Bolsover is a forest with no clear access rules. The birches look particularly smug today, probably because nobody has bothered to check if they’re open.

Sutton Scarsdale HallScheduled monument · 2.1 miLangwith CaveScheduled monument · 2.8 mi

Explorer Tom Langwith Cave in Bolsover is playing hide-and-seek with me. The official record says it’s a scheduled monument, but nobody knows if you can even walk in there. Take a picture for me if you pass!
