What is recorded here

In the NE quadrant of a possible ecclesiastical enclosure (GA041-037001-), c. 1m to the E of a possible church (GA041-037002-) and separated from the latter by a field wall that incorporates its E wall. Named ‘Tower (in Ruins)’ on the OS 6-inch maps. All that is visible is a collapsed mound of rubble (c. 7.5m N-S; 6m E-W; H at E 1m) which is densely overgrown with nettles and briars. It may be the remains of a building associated with an early monastic site.
