In N portion of graveyard (CO120-039001-); built 1819 (Brady 1863, vol. 1, 83) to N of earlier church (CO120-039003-). Short section of W wall of nave survives attached to an embattled tower (4.1m N-S; 4.1m E-W). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. The tower at Drinagh West was built in 1819, replacing an earlier church, and features an embattled design typical of early 19th-century ecclesiastical architecture. It is significant as a surviving element of the original church structure within the graveyard.
