What is recorded here

Tony Mullane was born in County Cork, Ireland, on January 30, 1859, and crossed the Atlantic as a small child to settle in Erie, Pennsylvania. He grew into the striking young man who would confuse opponents with two arms and delight crowds with a face the newspapers called divine. The boy from Cork became the first true ambidextrous pitcher in the major leagues, carrying a Irish name into the heart of American baseball history.
