Toberslanaun is a health-giving well on the north edge of Kilmeedy burial ground where people performed rounds. Loose stone walls enclose the water while a stream carries it southeast past concrete crosses and religious objects. The place still invites movement, memory and quiet hope.

On N edge of Kilmeedy burial ground (9347). Well enclosed by wall of loose stone. Stream flowing off to SE. Concrete cross and religious objects on wall. According to O'Donoghue (1986, 219), 'Toberslanan (health-giving well) at which "rounds" were performed'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Toberslanaun is associated with healing traditions, its name derived from the Irish *Tobair Sliabhán*, meaning "well of health." Local tradition holds that the well possesses curative properties, particularly for ailments of the body, and was historically visited for ritual washing or drinking.
