Toberreendoney holds two surviving wells and one closed chamber in County Limerick, marked on an 1840 map as the Lady's Well and St Bridget's Well. A vague local story claims four wells once stood there, but their names vanished before devotions stopped. The missing well may have been forgotten deliberately, buried under grass or simply stopped being asked for help.

Ó Danachair (1955, 206) recorded the following details about this holy well; 'Toberreendoney "Lady's Well" and "St Bridget's Well" on 1840 map. "Three holy wells, not much frequented at present" OSNB. Two of the wells still exist, the third has been closed up. A vague tradition that there were four holy wells here. No names are remembered.
