Tobernasool is a holy well in County Cork where clear water still rises beneath a rough stone roof, though nobody performs rituals there today. It stands beside the buried well of St. Sufran, suggesting the area once attracted devotion before forgetting or change removed the practice. The chamber may have served travellers, healers or local families seeking clarity at the water’s edge. Its quiet condition preserves more of the original form than many busy sacred sites still occupied by performance.

Natural spring enclosed on three sides by roughly-built stone structure with lintelled roof. Does not seem to be in holy use. According to Roberts (1988), another holy well (CO119-098---), dedicated to St. Sufran, and now covered over, was located nearby.
