What is recorded here

Indicated is a stone-faced ringfort in West Cork, its oval bank enclosing thirty-four metres of slightly raised pasture. A one-metre scarp cuts east-west through the interior, dividing the space like a forgotten threshold. The fort sits on a south-facing slope with gaps to the northeast and west-southwest, suggesting entrances rather than a single door. Whatever lived inside has gone quiet, but the shape remains, holding the slope and marking the boundary between field and memory.

In pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Oval, slightly raised area (34m N-S; 42m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.4m) SSW->SE, stone faced externally. Gap in bank to NE and WSW; possible entrance to N (Wth 2.1m), stone-faced. Scarp, facing S (H 1m), crosses interior on E-W axis.
