Tobernakill is a holy well traditionally associated with Saint Nathy (Naomh Naoimh), a 6th-century Irish saint linked to several holy sites in County Roscommon and beyond. The well's name, derived from "Tobar Na Naomh," suggests its use as a site of pilgrimage and healing, with local tradition attributing cures for eye ailments and general well-being to its waters.
